Spring Wood & Metal Collection: Town of Bridgewater

NEW! Spring wood and metal collection will take place from May 12 – 15, 2026, on your regular pickup day.

To ensure your items are picked up, please follow these simple rules:

* Weight Limit: Max 100 kgs (220 lbs) combined per household

* Size Limit: Items must be no longer than 1.8 m (6 ft.)

* Preparation: Remove all spikes and brackets longer than 15 cm (6 in.) from wood

* Sorting: Place wood and metal in two separate piles at the curb

Residents can drop off fridges, freezers, water coolers and air conditioners at South Shore Waste Solutions, 908 Mullock Road in Whynott’s Settlement.
